Itinerary
Day 1 — Arrive in Managua (Feb 7, 2026)
You will be greeted at the Managua Airport by your driver with a welcome package with the information you need for the following days.
Overnight in Managua
Accommodation – The Best Western Las Mercedes Managua,
Day 2 — Granada (Feb 8, 2026)
Morning: Hike Mombacho Volcano for cloud forest and summit views.
Midday: Visit Masaya Volcano National Park.
Afternoon: Relax at Apoyo Lagoon (lunch, swimming, kayaking).
Plan for leisure time in the evening to discover Granada at your own pace. Granada is a beautiful Colonial town that has historic buildings & churches, as well as Lake Granada.

Accommodation – the Hotel Plaza Colon, superior room, meals included: breakfast, lunch
Day 3 — Matagalpa - Estelí (Feb 9, 2026)
You’ll visit the oldest coffee region, and you will get a chance to meet one of our new coffee producer partnerships. Cupping at an exporting facility.
Overnight in Esteli
Accommodation – the Hotel Los Arcos, standard room, meals included: breakfast, lunch
Day 4 — Estelí to Somoto (Feb 10, 2026)
Mogotón coffee region is home to Nicaragua’s highest peak and lush cloud forests that nurture exceptional coffee. We will spend the entire day exploring the coffee farm of the Jimenez brothers, “Brisas Del Mogoton”. You’ll also be treated to a private cupping session at their coffee lab.
Overnight in Somoto
Accommodation – the Hotel Lever, Somoto, or similar, meals included: breakfast, lunch
Day 5 — Dipilto - Somoto (Feb 11, 2026)
The Dipilto region, known for its mountain vistas and premium shade-grown coffee, is where you will spend the day exploring a coffee farm from one of our trusted and longtime collaborators. We will then spend the latter half of the day cupping exclusive offerings available to Green Haven Imports.

Day 6 — Pueblo Nuevo - Managua (Feb 12, 2026)
Pueblo Nuevo coffee region, known for fertile valleys & innovative small-scale coffee producers. We will visit Finca Los Delirios and then have a private cupping session hosted by the renowned Canales family.
Experience a Cigar Factory in Esetli (Optional)
Accommodation – the Best Western Las Merceded Managua, standard room, meals included: breakfast, lunch
Day 7 — Departure (Feb 13, 2026)
Your Nicaragua experience has come to an end. Hotel shuttle to the airport and connect to onward travel.
