Recognizing the potential of the land, the farm's caretaker was determined to revive it through sustainable practices. The renewal process began with a total pruning of the old coffee plants, making way for new growth. A nursery was established to cultivate healthy, young coffee plants, ensuring that the new plants would be robust and productive.

The Bourbon variety was chosen for its exceptional cup quality and resistance to diseases, maintaining the farm's tradition of excellence. In addition to renewing the coffee plants, a diverse shade system was introduced. Native trees and fruit trees were planted to create a microclimate that would protect the coffee plants, enhance biodiversity, and prevent soil erosion. This holistic approach not only improved the farm's productivity but also contributed to the overall health of the ecosystem.
