Propelled with determination and a small parcel of land from his mother's farm, Lester has transformed this humble plot into a haven for cultivating and harvesting his own coffees within a unique ecosystem that thrives off the land itself.

Timeline

— Jan 2019

Lester Gonzalez while working on quality assurance at the processing mill informs us that he's going to have his first coffee lots available the next year.

— Jan 2020

True to our word, we sample his coffees and decide that his natural pacamara should be imported and shared with our market. (500lbs Quantity)

— Feb 2021

Lester loses some of his harvest to La Roya and only is able to supply us with 300 lbs- for us maintaining the relationship is what's most important.

— Apr 2022

Lester's harvest has mostly recovered from the prior years' issues with La Roya. Lester enters the Cup of Excellence competition for the first time and makes it to the second round of the national competition. (600 lbs)

— Apr 2023

We're entering our fourth year working with Lester and are bringing in 990 lbs of his coffee; our largest order yet. Additionally, his Natural Pacamara has broken through the 85 score threshold for the first time!
