The region is in the south-east of Minas Gerais, more commonly referred to as Alta Mogiana Mineira, a traditional coffee region that produces outstanding Brazilian coffees. One of the standout features of this region is the combination of altitude and average temperature during the year, which produces high content of natural sweetness. The altitude in this region ranges from 1080 to 1270 meters above sea level.

The total production of Fazenda El Dorado is a little more than 150 hectars, containing several cultivars, such as red and Yellow Catuai, Acaiá, Mundo Novo, and Catucaí. For years, the family has applied the traditional natural method for dry processing and drying of coffee. In 2013 Mr. Laerce together with his children, have shifted their attention to only the cultivation high quality specialty coffees. Their work continues to evolve, and the results have been fulfilling for them, and in turn ourselves; we are privileged to be offering this lot as our exclusive Brazilian offering. We look forward to many more years’ of partnership and are excited for Laerce’s continued perfection of his craft.
